This is taken from a large drawing, I had to cut and paste so the lightness of the piece gets a bit jumbled when the smaller image is viewed. I used a model [link] for this one too which is a new thing for me.

Such beautiful colors! The inset circles really draw you in. Reminds me of morning light thru a stained glass window. </sigh!> What kind of parrots/parakeets are those up top?

I'm inlove with the symmetry of this painting, not to say it's colors and the design itself. Art-Nouveau is one of my favourite stiles.

This is certainly your crown jewel. Beautiful colors and vibe. I love the movement of the flowers and how the woman's dress mirrors them.

Really wonderful work!
but if I may make one suggestion, it looks like, now and then, some of your arabesques seem a little fuzzy, and I feel that it some of them could benefit from being outlined in pen (such as prismacolor or Micron liners) before coloring with marker. Liners come in a wide range of colors, so once you do your marker work they would not even be noticable, but it could really help you acheive strong, deliberate lines.

Thank you for the kind words and feedback. I do use microns and quill pens with acrylic ink for outlining. I do however like to play with light and in this piece as an example I left the figure quite muted as if to create more of an ethereal feel. My scanner never does it justice however, and I'm striding to find my style. Thanks again.

I definately understand. It's great that you're playing with it and figuring it all out :) I was just making sure you knew of the option! :D
