The centre pattern is meant to be distracting. It is Maya the illusion. The figure on the right is referenced from Ladydove's stock. [link]
All done with ink.

Fantastic colors! The space background...behind everything there, that looks perfect! What's Maya the illusion though? I'm not familiar. Looks great!

Maya is a Sanskrit word meaning illusion, in most of the esoteric schools all that is changeless is the only true reality, all that is temporal or exists within the context of impermanence, subject to change is false. The idea is that all things material are swirling atoms that come into attraction and therefor being by immutable laws. These things are picked up by our senses as being coloured, textured, etc, but in truth they are Maya.

Its difficult to describe in one paragraph without sounding nutty:) But this idea is the backbone of most religions and esoteric philosophies where Spirit and the emanations thereof become the only true reality, something that in my opinion has become quite muddled and misconstrued in todays orthodox religions.

Anyhow K, thanks for the kindness.

So beautiful and brilliant! It's hard to believe this isn't digital with as meticulous as it is. The lotus blooming at the top with the swirls radiating from it is my favorite part:)
